Hybrid XRD Abdominal Sponges
are constructed from non-woven
inner layers with an all-cotton
gauze outer cover. A black x-ray
detectable thread is heat bonded
to the gauze.
These sponges have greater absorbency than 100% cotton. Designed for all open surgical procedures especially where improved fluid control is advantageous.

Five Hybrid Abdominal Sponges are folded and packed in a white plastic pouch which contains the product description, re-order code, lot no, expiry date, size, barcode,manufacturer’s name and contact details, sterilization method and storage conditions.Also caution” There is a potential for the X-ray thread to detach from the swab or sponge if the product is used in a manner contrary to the intended use” is printed on it.Each shipper is labelled with product description, lot number, expiry date, barcode, storage instruction,quantity, shipper gross weight and dimension, country of manufacture and manufacturer contact details.
