Instruction of Use
To don a respirator, open up the flat fold shape. Bend the nosepiece to form a nose shape. Pull the bottom strap over the top of your head and position at the top of your neck. Hold the mask in position over the nose and mouth, and pull the top strap over to rest at the crown of your head and above your ears. Using both hands, form the nosepiece around your nose. Adjust the tension between the upper and lower portions of the continuous loop head strap.To test fit, cup both hands over respirator. Inhale and exhale sharply. If air flows around your nose, tighten the nosepiece. If air flows around the edges, reposition and adjust the straps.
To remove, hold respirator in place by holding the nosepiece or around the sides. Avoid touching the centre of the mask. Pull bottom strap up and over your head. Still holding the respirator, pull top strap over your head and remove the respirator. Discard in accordance with regulations.
N95 Particulate Respirator does not supply oxygen and is not to be used in atmospheres containing less than 19.5 % oxygen. Do not use where concentrations of contaminants are immediately dangerous to life and health, where exposure limits exceed 10 times the permissible exposure limit.
N95 Particulate Respirator is used for protection from solid and liquids or non-oil based particles from sprays that do not also emit oil aerosols or vapours. If respirator becomes damaged, soiled or breathing becomes difficult, leave the contaminated area and replace the respirator.
